Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable General Services Operator to support plant operations by washing and loading trucks, unloading materials, supplying departments with raw materials and packaging, maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility, and assisting with production-related tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate truck wash station and prepare trailers for loading
- Load and unload trucks and railcars following company procedures
- Deliver raw materials and packaging supplies to departments
- Maintain cleanliness of the plant, warehouse, cooler, and surrounding areas
- Complete required inspections and documentation
- Assist other departments with cleaning and production activities
- Cross-train in other plant departments as needed
- Perform special projects assigned by management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required and basic mathematical and language skills
- Forklift certification required
- Basic computer and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Ability to work in wet, hot, cold, noisy, and industrial environments
Schedule
Full-time position. Must be able to work safely and effectively in a manufacturing environment.
Pay: $18.50/hour
