General Service Technician/ Tire and Lube Technician

This position will be accountable for performing quality tire installations; battery installations; lubrication, oil and filter service; inspection procedures; and various other mechanical repairs as required on all makes & models of cars & trucks. Must have own tools including but not limited to pneumatic tools for tire removal and installation, oil changes, tire rotations, air filter, cabin air filter replacement, general fluid services.

This position will be accountable for performing quality tire installations; battery installations; lubrication, oil and filter service; inspection procedures; and various other mechanical repairs as required on all makes & models of cars & trucks. This position is technical in nature and requires a large commitment and investment in personal training and development. As you gain knowledge and experience, you will be able to start working towards your A.S.E. Certification (company paid).


Must be mechanically inclined


Strong written and verbal communication skills


You will need to be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally


Must be able to stand, kneel and crawl while operating equipment and tools


You must also be at least 18 years old, have a valid drivers license


Must have own tools including but not limited to pneumatic tools for tire removal and installation, oil changes, tire rotations, air filter, cabin air filter replacement, general fluid services.


This is a perfect opportunity for an entry level technician looking to further their skills, and grow with an already growing company! Average Hourly Starting Rate is $15.00 per hour!


Pay is hourly plus commission


About Woodie's Auto Service: We are locally family owned and operated and have multiple locations in the Charlotte and Charleston areas. We are currently recruiting technicians for our CHARLOTTE, NC and CHARLESTON, SC locations.
