General Service Technician (B-Level Repair Technician)

Job Description

Compensation: $18.00-$25.00/hr.

Full-Time or Part-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various automotive issues, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and efficient service.

Duties:

• Perform automotive maintenance and repair tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs
• Diagnose vehicle issues using automotive diagnostic equipment
• Conduct vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs
• Align and balance wheels and repair or replace worn parts
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs to customers in a clear manner

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an automotive service setting, preferably at a dealership
• Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools to identify vehicle issues
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
• Familiarity with automotive maintenance practices to maintain vehicles in top condition
