Description

We are seeking a dependable and motivated General Repair & Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team in Walhalla, SC. If you're a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and keeping operations running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you.   • Complete daily preventive maintenance checklists.
  • Complete daily forklift inspection checklists.
  • Inspect production equipment, lighting, fixtures, air lines, and facility systems; repair or replace components as needed.
  • Inspect, repair, and change fluids in production equipment and machinery.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance repairs and maintain accurate repair logs.
  • Schedule and oversee outsourced maintenance and repair services when necessary.
  • Use hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and other maintenance equipment.
  • Order maintenance supplies and materials as needed.
  • Lift, carry, and move production materials and equipment throughout the facility.
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Operate a company vehicle to transport supplies or equipment when required.
  • Clean, maintain, and replace eyewash stations.
  • Perform monthly fire extinguisher inspections.
  • Complete other maintenance duties and special projects assigned by the Plant Manager.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience preferred.
  • Basic reading and comprehension skills.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools and maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to complete work accurately, efficiently, and on time.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and use precision measuring tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Pay: $17.00–$19.00 per hour, based on experience.Shift- 1st Monday-Friday 7am to 3pm#IND2
