    Description

    We are looking for a General Radiology Operator to join our collaborative team at Memorial Health!

    What Youll Do:

    • Performs limited radiography independently, including, but not limited to, digital x-rays of chests, abdomens, extremities, spine and DEXA scans. Follows radiation safety principals and completes exams according to the Ohio Administrative Code.
    • Provides pre-exam instructions, verifies patient/caregiver understanding of instructions; maintains patient history files by utilizing the EMR Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), scans patient reports; burns CDs as requested for release.
    • Participates in process improvement, both departmental and hospital-wide.
    • Special projects as dictated by supervisor.

    • Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
    • Attends all mandatory education and in-services (i.e., team training, safety, infection control, etc.); completes mandatory health requirements.
    • Employee performs within the prescribed limits of the hospital's and department's Ethics and Compliance program and is responsible to detect, observe and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, or upward through the chain of command, the Compliance Officer, or the hospital hotline.
    • Performs other duties as required or assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Completion of secondary education, and a state approved general radiation and protection course.
    • Licensed by the Ohio Department of Health for General X-ray Machine Operator (GXMO) in digital x-ray and DEXA scan.

    Shift

    1st (Mon-Fri 8-4:30p)

    Hours

    80 per pay (every two weeks)
