Foodland Super Market, Hawaii's largest locally owned grocery retailer is hiring for General Merchandise (GM) Clerks to join our team!

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Ensure the general merchandise section of the store is well-stocked for our customers. General merchandise products include but are not limited to, health and beauty products, over-the-counter medicines, candy, magazines, tourist items, and seasonal merchandise.
• Order, receive, store, and stock products while ensuring proper inventory control, product rotation and quality.
• Create and build product displays, ensure proper fronting of products, and handle product damages and credits according to company policy.
• Must be familiar with store products and their locations in order to assist customers in locating items.
• Must be able to perform all duties of a cashier as needed

Qualifications and requirements: 

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver, and/or carry up to 50 pounds at, above and below waist level
• Must pass written, multiple choice math test
• Must have Tuberculosis Clearance required or Willing to take test upon offer.
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements
• Language: Speak/Read/Write - English
• Applicant should be able to reliably commute to work on time.
• Must have open availability for various shifts as needed
