We believe in #Performance #Collaboration #Integrity #Innovation #Integrity #Celebration
You will have a high level of accountability for all retail store functions and for communicating and implementing the company vision through directing the day-to-day activities of the entire store staff. Your day runs on two tracks at once: driving high-performance results on the floor in a fast-paced, demanding solutions sales environment, and running the store like a business - budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on what's working. You will also act as a mentor for your Assistant General Manager and attend weekly sales leadership calls. You take personal ownership of your store's results - they are the clearest signal of your leadership, not just a number you report upward.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Management - Selecting, hiring, and developing the best talent - the core of this role
Own the hiring process for your store: interview, select, and bring in the best talent - a General Manager's most important decision is who joins the team, not just how you develop them once they're there
Build, develop, and mentor your sales team
Work through your team to teach, coach, and reinforce our sales process with Every Guest, Every Time
Provide ongoing sales training and support to help your team exceed sales, retention, quality, and service objectives
Results Driven - Owning your store's numbers, not just reporting them
Take personal ownership of your store's overall sales performance - your results are the clearest signal of your leadership
Ensure store employees meet and/or exceed defined monthly success measurements and complete assigned training on time and in full
Own store success and take ownership for store employees' work-related needs, staffing and scheduling, labor controls, marketing, and loss prevention
Keep score daily - review your store's key sales and operational metrics every day, not just at month-end, and adjust before small gaps become missed targets
Customer Focus - Delivering complete solutions, not just resolving issues
Set the bar for the standard Victra Greet in your store - introduce yourself, get the guest's name, and ask what brings them in - and hold your team accountable to it every guest, every time
Own all guest escalations and provide a timely resolution
Stay up to date with new sales promotions and ensure guests receive a complete solution for their current and future needs
Relationship Building - Earning talent and trust beyond your four walls
Attract and retain top-caliber employees
Build relationships with peer General Managers and district leadership to share what's working across stores
Change Management - Championing new tools and traffic strategies
Champion new sales tools and initiatives as they roll out, rather than just administering them
Think of innovative ways to drive traffic into your store and capitalize on your existing customer base
Strategic Thinking - Running the store like a business, not just a shift
Engage in sales strategy development to ensure products and services are effectively showcased throughout the store
Engage in business operations including budgeting, forecasting, analyzing, and providing sales reports
Inspirational Leadership - Leading as a brand advocate
Act as a brand advocate for Victra
Clearly communicate company objectives and priorities to your team, with timely follow-up
