We are seeking a strong, tenured individual to lead the daily hotel operations and work collaboratively with ownership as the General Manager for the dual-branded Motel 6 and Studio 6 Tucson North hotel. The General Manager role will: Manage and maintain staffing schedules for all departments.

We are seeking a strong, tenured individual to lead the daily hotel operations and work collaboratively with ownership as the General Manager for the dual-branded Motel 6 and Studio 6 Tucson North hotel.

Job Overview

The General Manager role will:

• Manage and maintain staffing schedules for all departments
• Ensure effective allocation of resources
• Monitor and control costs, including inventory and payroll
• Process bi-weekly payroll
• Hold regular standups with all team members and department leaders
• Maintain a positive culture and working environment 
• Ensure the hotel is compliant with brand standards
• Work with various vendors to source quotes and maintain contracts
• Tour and visually inspect the property on a daily basis
• Oversee the maintenance of general facilities
• Create a sales & marketing plan to help drive corporate accounts and group business
• Complete the month-end reporting
• Prepare and submit all invoices through the corporate accounting system
• Actively work with ownership and the corporate accounting team

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years in a hotel General Management position
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with computers and email communication
• Must be able to reliably commute or relocate to the Tucson, Arizona area
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
