Are you an experienced leader who wants more than simply managing a team?

Cenvar Roofing & Exteriors is looking for a General Manager Trainee to develop into the operational leader and cultural driver of a future Cenvar branch.

You'll learn the business from the ground up—sales, production, customer experience, financial performance, team leadership, and branch operations—while working alongside experienced Cenvar leaders and actively contributing to business results.

The goal of this position is advancement into a General Manager role.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership development position, not a classroom management program.

You'll work closely with your Regional Manager while learning how to run a successful exterior remodeling branch. You'll develop experience across the entire customer and project lifecycle—from generating revenue and serving homeowners to coordinating production, leading employees and crews, managing administrative responsibilities, and driving branch performance.

You'll be expected to learn Cenvar's roofing and exterior remodeling business end to end while taking increasing ownership as you demonstrate readiness.

We're looking for someone who wants responsibility, welcomes accountability, learns quickly, and has the leadership ability and drive to eventually take ownership of a branch.

What You'll Learn & Do

• Learn the full Cenvar customer journey, from initial sales opportunity through project completion.
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service that creates brand loyalty and new business.
• Manage sales opportunities and partner with Remote Sales Representatives to achieve revenue goals.
• Present Cenvar's products, services, scope of work, and solutions to homeowners.
• Learn Cenvar's sales process and the key performance metrics that drive branch revenue.
• Use CRM and company systems to track jobs, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure process compliance.
• Schedule and manage projects for both in-house crews and subcontractors.
• Oversee job sites and crews to ensure quality, safety, efficiency, and protection of customer property.
• Monitor project progress and help ensure a smooth customer experience from sale through completion.
• Learn to identify and resolve operational problems before they affect customers or branch performance.
• Set clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable to company standards.
• Develop the ability to coach, lead, and motivate employees.
• Complete and oversee branch administrative responsibilities, including expense reports, payroll, invoicing, and warranty registrations.
• Learn the financial and operational metrics used to evaluate branch performance.
• Participate actively in weekly team meetings and leadership discussions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, quality, and profitability.
• Represent Cenvar with professionalism, integrity, positivity, and a customer-first mindset.
• Take increasing ownership of branch operations as you demonstrate readiness.

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of management experience, preferably in a sales, customer service, operations, or performance-driven environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead people and hold a team accountable
• Strong sales and customer-service mindset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization and ability to manage competing priorities
• Dependability, initiative, and a strong work ethic
• Comfort using technology, CRM systems, and standard business software
• Valid driver's license and driving record acceptable under company insurance requirements
• Ability to meet the company's background-check requirements

Experience in construction, roofing, exterior remodeling, home services, field operations, or a similar industry is helpful, but not required.

Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

We're more interested in finding a proven leader with drive, judgment, humility, accountability, and the ability to learn than someone who already knows everything about roofing.
