Job Opportunity: General Manager - Swine Farm

Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000 per year

Experience: Minimum 5 years of Farrow to Finish Management

General Manager Job Description:

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced professional to join our team as the General Manager for our swine farm. This is a leadership role with a focus on overseeing the entire farrow to finish process. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring optimal production efficiency, and leading a dedicated team.

General Manager Responsibilities:

1. Operations Oversight: Manage all aspects of the swine farm's operations, from farrow to finish, to ensure smooth and efficient processes.

2. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a skilled team, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring everyone works towards common goals.

3. Financial Management: Oversee budgeting and financial planning for the farm, working towards cost-effectiveness and profitability.

4. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, promoting a secure working environment for all team members.

5. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance measures to meet industry standards and customer expectations.

6. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans for the farm's growth and success.

General Manager Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in farrow to finish management within the swine industry.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and cost control.
• In-depth knowledge of swine farming operations and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
