The role is for a General Manager at a boutique destination resort in Scottsdale, Arizona, focused on evolving into a full resort anchored in wellness, culinary excellence, live entertainment, and the Sonoran Desert landscape.
Key responsibilities include leading property repositioning to meet AAA 5 Diamond standards, overseeing all operations (rooms, F&B, spa, fitness, events, membership), mentoring department heads, driving revenue, managing financials, and collaborating with marketing and sales. The GM will serve as a community ambassador and foster a culture of service excellence.
Qualifications include active Marriott full-service experience, GM experience at a resort with 100+ keys, success in repositioning or brand transformation, strong F&B leadership, and a bachelor’s degree. Preferred candidates have AAA Diamond pursuit, wellness or membership background, event programming experience, and community-building skills.
