We are seeking a polished, career-driven General Manager to lead the opening of a brand-new polished casual Italian restaurant with a growing, award-winning hospitality group. This is a rare ground-floor opportunity: you will hire and train the opening team, set the standards, and build the culture from day one, with a clear path to grow as the brand expands into new markets.
What You'll Do
- Lead all aspects of daily operations for a new polished casual Italian restaurant opening
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop the opening front-of-house team
- Create a warm, guest-first culture where scratch-made Italian cooking meets genuine Southern hospitality
- Maintain a visible presence in the dining room and build lasting relationships with guests
- Drive sales, profitability, labor efficiency, and cost controls from opening day forward
- Partner closely with the Executive Chef to deliver consistent, high-quality execution
- Maintain high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and presentation
- Identify and develop future leaders who can grow with the organization
What We're Looking For
- Proven General Manager experience in polished casual, upscale casual, or full-service dining
- A warm, hands-on leadership style and willingness to lead from the floor
- Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and wine with a genuine passion for hospitality
- Strong financial and operational knowledge, including P&L management, labor, food costs, and inventory
- New restaurant opening experience is a strong plus
- High personal standards, attention to detail, and pride in every aspect of the restaurant
- A career-driven approach and desire to grow with an expanding brand
