Welcome Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced
General Manager to lead the Intercontinental Palm Springs Resort and Spa (coming Soon). General Manager will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experience, strong community engagement, and sustainable profitability. This is a senior leadership role that requires both strategic vision and hands-on management.

Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Manage daily operations across all departments (front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, etc.) to ensure smooth, high-quality service
- Revenue & Profitability: Develop and execute strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and return on investment
- Financial Management: Monitor performance, prepare budgets, forecast revenues, and control expenses
- Guest Experience: Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional service, address complaints promptly, and enhance guest satisfaction
- Team Development: Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate staff; foster a positive, high-performance culture
- Brand Standards: Uphold and promote InterContinental’s service principles — worldly understanding, insider knowledge, flair, and perfection in guest service
- Marketing & Promotions: Implement marketing campaigns and promotional activities to attract guests
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations; maintain a safe, compliant environment
- Sustainability: Consider environmental impact and take steps to reduce the hotel’s carbon footprint
- Community Engagement: Build relationships with the local community to enhance the guest experience
Skills & Qualifications required- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in hospitality management, preferably in a luxury hotel setting
- Leadership: Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Customer Service: Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
- Renovation and hotel opening experience preferred.
- Previous IHG experience preferred.
- Luxury hotel operations- Demonstrated success in luxury resort or destination markets, preferably Palm Springs or a comparable leisure resort market
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for leveraging technology, data, and creative promotion.

Compensation & Benefits- Annual Salary range: $215,000 – $240,000, plus performance-based bonus tied to property KPIs (RevPAR index, guest satisfaction, financial goals).
