General Manager

Position Summary:

Nothing Bundt Cakes Waterford Lakes is opening soon and looking for an experienced General Manager.  We are seeking an exceptional individual with well-honed organizational skills and an outgoing personality to help build an opening team for a brand new bakery! Not only is this an opportunity to help hand pick the team, but also to work in a sparkling brand new kitchen, and an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a sweet future!

The General Manager has full accountability for developing and maintaining an environment where there is a strong commitment to making genuine connections while focusing on providing the best service and highest quality products to our guests. This individual has the spirit of a champion, taking 100% accountability for the things they can control, making zero excuses. This individual also has a servant's heart, and goes out of their way for others with a 'whatever it takes' attitude. The General Manager coaches a team and manages a schedule of 12-20 employees, and ensures smooth and efficient operations in both the back and front of house. This person oversees the baking, frosting, utility, crafting and guest service departments, orders ingredients and supplies weekly, spearheads marketing and event efforts, among other duties, with a bright friendly smile.

• Must work a minimum of 45-50 hours per week

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 

• Abide by all NBC policies and procedures
• Abide by NBC’s uniform policy 
• Uphold NBC's image and brand
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bakery 
• Maintain wait times, service and convenience
• Project a positive attitude
• Lead guest service by example at all times
• Represent Nothing Bundt Cakes in a professional manner at all times
• Be aware of all promotions and offers 
• Pay special attention to guest satisfaction
• Enforce all NBC policies and provide ongoing feedback
• Complete all required reports accurately including but not limited to the schedule, satisfaction reports, sales reports, labor reports, etc.
• Daily inventory and weekly ordering
• Maintain good communication between team members, owners, and the home office. 
• Assist with deliveries and all marketing functions including events
• Balance and supervise sales transactions
