    Position Summary

    Sofrito Latin Cafe is seeking a results-driven General Manager to lead our team with accountability, integrity, and focus. This role calls for a hands-on leader who takes ownership, drives operational excellence, and makes thoughtful, timely decisions to achieve financial and performance goals. You will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations including P&L management, team development, guest experience, and regulatory compliance while upholding the high standards that define our brand.     Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee all restaurant operations with full accountability for guest service, quality, and cleanliness

    • Manage financial performance, including labor, food, and operating costs

    • Hire, train, schedule, develop, and lead a team of 15+ employees per shift

    • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and ServSafe standards

    • Manage inventory, ordering, vendor relations, and waste control

    • Resolve guest concerns and uphold a strong customer-focused culture

    • Maintain a professional restaurant image and community presence

    • Report operational and performance updates directly to ownership

    Required Qualifications

    • 2+ years as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a high-volume restaurant

    • Proven track record of hitting labor and food cost targets

    • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

    • Knowledge of restaurant financials, scheduling, and cost controls

    • ServSafe certification (required)

    • Proficiency with basic computer systems

    • Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the U.S.

    • Background and credit check (required)

    Compensation & Benefits

    Annual Salary: $72,000 - $76,000 (based on experience)
