    About Us
    Aire Serv of the Emerald Coast is a locally owned HVAC service company serving Destin and the surrounding Emerald Coast communities. We are hiring a General Manager to take over day-to-day operations and lead our next stage of growth.

    The Role
    The General Manager runs the business day to day so the owner can step back from daily operations. You will be accountable for service quality, team performance, and financial results, with real authority to make decisions and grow the company.

    Responsibilities
    Daily operations
    •     Oversee dispatch, scheduling, and job flow for the technicians and helper
    •     Supervise and coach the customer service team so calls, bookings, and follow-ups are handled promptly
    •     Resolve escalated customer issues and protect the company’s reputation
    •     Manage parts inventory, trucks, and vendor relationships so jobs are not delayed

    Financial performance
    •     Own the weekly and monthly numbers: revenue, job costing, gross margin, callbacks, and technician productivity
    •     Work with the owner on pricing, estimates, and budgets
    •     Control expenses and purchasing within approved authority

    Growth
    •     Build the service-agreement base and repeat business
    •     Recruit, hire, and onboard technicians and support staff as demand grows
    •     Partner with the owner on marketing, lead sources, and online reviews
    •     Identify new revenue opportunities, including system replacements and installs

    People and culture
    •     Set clear expectations, hold regular one-on-ones, and give timely feedback and training
    •     Build a culture of accountability, safety, and great customer service

    Compliance and safety
    •     Make sure work follows Florida licensing, permitting, refrigerant handling, and safety requirements
    •     Keep accurate records for jobs, warranties, and required documentation

    Qualifications
    Required
    •     7+ years in HVAC service, including at least 2 years leading a team (lead technician, service manager, dispatch supervisor, or similar)
    •     Strong knowledge of residential HVAC service and how jobs are diagnosed, quoted, and completed
    •     Comfortable reading a P&L and working with job costing, margins, and KPIs
    •     Experience with service management software such as Service Titan.
    •     Clear communicator with customers, technicians, and office staff
    •     Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check

    Preferred
    •     Florida HVAC contractor license (such as CAC) or willingness to work toward one
    •     EPA 608 certification
    •     Sales or estimating experience, and experience growing a small business
    Compensation: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
