About KidsUnited

KidsUnited helps children ages 18 months–9 years build confidence, coordination, and essential life skills through soccer. We create a welcoming environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun—and where families feel connected from their very first visit.

We’re looking for an outgoing, motivated General Manager to lead our club, grow our membership, and build a team that delivers an exceptional experience for every child and family.

About the Role

As General Manager, you’ll take ownership of the club’s daily operations, membership growth, team performance, and customer experience. Before opening, you’ll lead presale efforts, community outreach, and hiring to establish a strong membership base and prepare the team for launch. Once open, you’ll focus on growing and retaining memberships, developing your staff, and maintaining a consistently excellent class experience.

This is an active, visible leadership role. You’ll connect with families, support sales conversations, observe classes, coach employees, and step in wherever the team needs support. You’ll supervise all club staff, report directly to the Owner, and work with the Franchisor to uphold KidsUnited standards.

Deliver an Exceptional Family Experience

  • Build relationships with children and parents, creating a club where families feel welcomed, supported, and excited to return.

  • Ensure classes are engaging, organized, age-appropriate, and aligned with KidsUnited standards.

  • Guide families through the experience from their first inquiry and trial class to enrollment and ongoing participation.

  • Listen to parent feedback, resolve concerns thoughtfully, and follow through on commitments.

  • Identify opportunities to improve member satisfaction and retention.

Lead Daily Operations

  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, facility readiness, equipment, and supplies.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for children, families, and staff.

  • Manage staff schedules and coverage to support class quality and business needs.

  • Review employee time records and coordinate accurate, timely payroll.

  • Follow KidsUnited operating procedures, safety practices, and brand standards.

  • Energy and initiative: You lead by example, stay involved, and take responsibility for results.

  • Schedule flexibility: Availability for weekday evenings and weekend mornings.

Preferred Experience

  • Leadership in youth programs, fitness, recreation, hospitality, or another customer-focused business.

  • Coaching, teaching, or early childhood development experience, particularly with children ages 18 months–9 years.
