Lead the Green Revolution: General Manager II - Warner Robins, GA 🍑🚛
Are you a high-impact leader ready to run a multi-million dollar operation in the heart of Georgia? GFL Environmental is looking for a powerhouse General Manager II to take the helm of our Warner Robins facility.

If you're a strategic thinker who knows how to inspire a team, drive profitability, and maintain a "Safety First" culture-all while keeping a smile on your face-you're the captain we're looking for. At GFL, we don't just manage waste; we provide the essential infrastructure that keeps our communities thriving.

The Mission

As the General Manager II, you are the CEO of your branch. You'll be directing everything from fleet maintenance and route optimization to sales growth and community relations. You aren't just managing a facility; you're building a legacy of environmental excellence.

Key Responsibilities (The Big Picture):
 • Command & Control: Direct the activities of Facility Managers, Sales teams, and Maintenance crews to hit high-performance targets.
 • The People Champion: Recruit, hire, and develop a motivated workforce. You're responsible for fostering a culture where people love to come to work.
 • Operational Strategy: Use high-tech tools like Route Smart and Full Route Roll-Off Dispatch to ensure our collection services are the most efficient in the state.
 • Financial Mastery: Own the P&L. You'll develop profit plans, manage budgets, and conduct deep-dive audits to ensure every line item is working for the bottom line.
 • Safety Architect: Implement and promote safety programs that protect our team and the public, ensuring everyone goes home safe at the end of the shift.
 • Brand Ambassador: Represent GFL in Warner Robins civic affairs, building strong local ties and a professional corporate image.

What You Bring to the Table:
 • The Background: A Bachelor's degree (4-year) and/or a stellar track record in an operational environment that demands analytical and general management skills.
 • The Expertise: 5+ years in the waste industry (preferred) or an equivalent mix of education and high-level leadership experience.
 • The Skills: You can read a P&L as easily as a map, you speak "heavy equipment," and you have the charisma to lead a diverse team.
 • Physicality: You're comfortable in an office but ready to head out into the Georgia heat or a moderate-noise shop environment when the mission requires it.

Why GFL?

We offer a career that's as rewarding as it is challenging.
 • Strategic Impact: You have the autonomy to set the direction for your facility and make a real difference in the community.
 • Fast-Paced Growth: Join one of the fastest-growing environmental services companies in North America.
 • Comprehensive Benefits: We take care of our leaders with competitive salary grades (Grade 16), retirement plans, and top-tier insurance.

Ready to Take the Wheel?

If you have the grit, the professional polish, and the drive to lead our Warner Robins team to new heights, we want to see your resume!

We thank you for your interest. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
