Brix Tavern is seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven General Manager to lead our Hillsboro location. This is not a desk job. We're looking for a hands-on leader who thrives on the floor, builds strong teams, develops future leaders, and creates exceptional guest experiences while delivering strong financial performance.
This role is ideal for a proven restaurant leader who understands that great hospitality and great business results go hand in hand.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $80,000
- Performance-Based Bonus Opportunity
- Potential Total Annual Compensation: Up to $100,000+

What You'll Do
Leadership & Culture
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of managers and hourly employees
- Create a culture of accountability, respect, and hospitality
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain top talent
- Build future leaders through active development and mentorship
- Set clear expectations and hold teams accountable to results
Operations
- Oversee all front and back-of-house operations
- Maintain exceptional standards for food quality, cleanliness, and service
- Ensure execution of company systems, SOPs, and brand standards
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and proactively
- Drive consistency during peak volume periods
Financial Management
- Manage labor, food cost, beverage cost, and controllable expenses
- Drive revenue growth through hospitality, community involvement, and sales initiatives
- Analyze P&L statements and take action to improve performance
- Maintain strong inventory and purchasing controls
- Deliver financial results while protecting the guest experience
Community & Brand Presence
- Build relationships within the Hillsboro community
- Support local marketing initiatives and events
- Represent Brix Tavern and Urban Restaurant Group professionally at all times
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of successful restaurant General Manager experience
- Experience leading high-volume full-service restaurant operations
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain teams
- Experience managing labor, food cost, and profitability
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands
Preferred Qualifications
- Multi-unit leadership exposure
- Bar and beverage program experience
- Experience with catering, banquet, or event-driven revenue
- Passion for local food, craft beer, wine, and hospitality
