General Manager - Grain & Feed Cooperative (Relocate to North-Central SD)

gpac is working with a farmer-owned cooperative in north-central South Dakota that needs a hands-on General Manager. They run a grain and feed business with a small, tight-knit crew, and they want someone who knows grain operations and can run a P&L. This is a relocation opportunity. If you're open to a move, this is a small, growing community with good schools and great hunting and fishing.

Responsibilities

• Run the P&L and the day-to-day grain and feed operation
• Merchandise grain, including origination, basis and hedging, with training available
• Oversee feed grinding and mixing for a wide range of livestock
• Manage inventory, customers, and a small team of operators and a bookkeeper
• Work alongside the crew as a working manager

Qualifications

• A strong grain operations background
• P&L experience
• Grain merchandising experience, or a real interest in learning origination and hedging
• Management experience
• Willing to relocate and live in the community. Long commutes or part-time presence won't work
• Comfortable in a small-town operation with a close-knit team

What's offered

• $100K–$120K base DOE
• Profit sharing potential
