All Day Darling Montford isn't just a neighborhood restaurant it's the anchor of a growing Asheville hospitality group that's building toward five restaurants by 2035, starting with our next location, All Day Darling Oakley, already under construction.
We're looking for a General Manager who's already led at scale, who's still interested in their career path to want to keep climbing, and who treats hospitality like a craft not a grind. This position reports directly to our executive team, and it's a role in the the shared spotlight, you'll be building the guest experience and the team culture alongside the Executive Team, not removed from it. As we grow, this is a position to which might get the first look for the future Director of Restaurant Operations an expanded and more dynamic role overseeing business operations for multiple locations.
What you'll do
- Run the day-to-day across FOH, BOH, and our bakery keeping the floor calm even when the flow of business isn't.
- Build and coach a team, developing your own future leads and assistant managers from within.
- Own your numbers labor, COGS, cash, inventory and use real tools to manage them, not guesswork.
- Help shape the guest experience and represent All Day Darling publicly as we grow.
- Set the vibe every single day service setup, music, lighting, and a spotless space guests notice without knowing why.
- Identify revenue opportunities and pinch points, and work directly with the Executive Team to act on them.
- Book events, host community partners, and keep our social presence sharp.
What you'll bring
- 5+ years running restaurant operations at the GM or Ops Manager level; multi-location experience is a strong plus.
- A genuine comfort with digital tools scheduling platforms, POS/reporting, basic labor and cost modeling.
- A people-first leadership style: kind, direct, and calm someone your team would follow into a slammed Saturday brunch.
