Role Overview

Sodexo is a seeking a strategic General Manager 6 at UT Health Tyler located in Tyler, TX. In this role, the General Manager will manage food service operations with a strong focus on process improvements, employee engagement, client relations, and financial performance while enhancing patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who fosters an inclusive culture and drives business success.

What You"ll Do

• have oversight of day-to-day operations;
• implement strategies to drive patient satisfaction scores;
• engage in facility and construction planning;
• develop strategic plans to promote brand management;
• achieve company and client financial targets and goals; and
• develop and maintain client and customer relationships.

What You Bring

• has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
• has a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance, HACCP trained preferred;
• has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
• can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
• can lead and motivate the management team, inspiring strategic direction; secure and/or deploy resources; cultivate relationships with clients and other teams within Sodexo; ensure the fulfillment of all contract commitments; sustain client satisfaction and retention; and maintain strong employee relations.
