    Position Summary:

    This role is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of building systems, while also serving as a go-to resource for less experienced team members. You'll bring both technical expertise and a service mindset-ensuring issues are resolved quickly, safely, and with minimal disruption to patient care.

    What You'll Do

    • Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance across facility systems

    • Troubleshoot and repair:

    • Electrical distribution systems

    • HVAC and mechanical systems

    • Plumbing and piping systems

    • Power generation equipment

    • Medical gas systems

    • Building structures and infrastructure

    • Support system reliability through routine inspections and proactive maintenance

    • Respond to urgent issues with a calm, solutions-focused approach

    • Ensure all work is completed in alignment with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies

    • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, helping build team capability

    • Partner with clinical and operational teams to ensure a safe and uninterrupted care environment

    Position Qualification:

    What You Bring

    • High School Diploma or GED required

    • Experience in facilities or maintenance within:

    • Healthcare setting preferred, or

    • Commercial/industrial environment with comparable systems

    • Demonstrated experience working across multiple building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)

    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment

    Commitment to safety, teamwork, and service excellence

    Experience Requirements

    • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a healthcare setting

    OR

    • 7+ years of maintenance experience in a comparable environment

    OR

    • 2+ years of experience with completion of a trade or vocational program
