    • Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology, and oncology services.
    Responsibilities:
    • Performs a wide range of advanced, technical, journeyman-level preventive maintenance and repairs for assigned facilities and/or departments, including plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilating, and/or air conditioning services.
    • Required to perform licensed trades tasks, such as a light equipment operator, carpenter, painter, and/or locksmith.
    • Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
    Qualifications:

    Job Requirements

    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
    • Three (3) years of related experience
    • Ability to communicate effectively
    • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
    • NM journeyman license in either construction trades or some type of certificate of training in the trades field.
    • NM Driver’s License. In order to drive a Lovelace-owned vehicle, you must possess a valid NM driver’s license with no DUI/DWI within the last five years.

    Preferred Job Requirements

    • Technical and/or Vocational training in a related field of study
