Job Title: General Maintenance Worker
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Duration: Temporary 1 – 2 Months
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Maintenance Worker to assist with basic facility upkeep for a 1-2 month period. The ideal candidate will perform general maintenance duties, including replacing ceiling tiles and light fixtures, painting, and will be responsible for tracking janitorial supplies and inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Replace damaged or missing ceiling tiles
- Getting on a ladder for decobbing the ceiling
- Replace and maintain light fixtures and bulbs
- Monitor and maintain janitorial supply inventory
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities for safety hazards or needed repairs.
- Notify supervisor when supplies are low or repairs are needed
- Assist with other light maintenance duties as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests or service calls
Requirements:
- Prior maintenance or facility experience preferred
- Upper body strength to hold a pole
- Ability to lift to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
