General Maintenance

Position Title: General Maintenance Worker

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Superintendent

Employment Term: Full Time

Qualifications:

Must be a current high school student or recent graduate Minimum age requirement as determined by district policy and state law Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to perform physical labor in indoor and outdoor environments Ability to operate hand and power tools Positive attitude and willingness to learn General Responsibilities:

Performs tasks to maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment ensuring they are safe, operable, and orderly. Follow all district safety procedures and properly use cleaning tools and equipment Maintain professionalism and appropriate behavior while representing the school district Demonstrate teamwork, responsibility, and respect for others Follow district policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times Perform other duties assigned by supervisors Working Conditions

Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects with assistance when necessary Exposure to cleaning chemicals, heat, cold, and outdoor weather conditions
