    Glen-Gery is seeking a motivated General Laborer / Slurry Operator to support daily brick manufacturing operations. This hands-on role involves mixing and maintaining slurry and sand systems, monitoring product quality, preparing materials for production, and assisting with equipment maintenance.

    Position Summary

    The General Laborer / Slurry Operator is responsible for assisting with brick manufacturing operations, preparing and maintaining slurry and sand application systems, monitoring product quality, and supporting equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and willing to learn.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Mix and maintain slurry, sand, and texture applications
    • Monitor product quality and production processes
    • Set up and maintain production equipment and feeders
    • Assist with changeovers and inventory tracking
    • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
    • Support equipment maintenance and repairs

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
    • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
    • Manufacturing experience preferred
    • Ability to perform physical labor and handle production materials
    • Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork
