General Laborer
Location: Shrewsbury, MA
Onsite Flexibility: Onsite
Contract Details
- Position Type: Contract (Temp-to-Perm for the right person, based on experience and budget)
- Contract Duration: 2 months
- Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: 7:30 AM 4:30 PM, Monday Friday
- Overtime: Occasional extended days, not weekly
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Job Summary
GTT is seeking a General Laborer for an onsite assignment in Shrewsbury, MA. This role supports warehouse, shipping, and equipment operations in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Help with shipping and receiving
- Wrap rental equipment and welding equipment
- Wash equipment (power washing)
- Wind cable
- Sort and organize
Preferred Skills
- Electrical experience is a plus, along with welding experience
- Forklift experience is a plus (loading and unloading); if the contractor is kept on assignment beyond 1 month, they will be considered for ALUS Forklift training
- Use of air tools/impact guns for pack frames and general hand tool knowledge is a plus
