General Laborer

Nesco Resource, a national staffing firm has an immediate need for a General Laborer for a client in Ronkonkoma.

General Labor-Shake Out - IMMEDIATE
Full-Time | Monday Friday | 6:00 AM 2:45 PM
Overtime as Needed
What You'll Do
" Remove (shake/punch out) metal parts from sheet metal after laser cutting
" Sort and dispose of scrap metal properly
" Load finished parts onto pallets and transport materials using a pallet jack
" Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
" Follow safety procedures and wear the provided PPE
" Work closely with team members to keep production moving efficiently
" Assist in other areas as needed
What We're Looking For
" High school diploma or GED
" Sheet metal experience is a plus (but not required)
" Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
" Strong attention to detail and solid work ethic
" Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed
" Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
" Manufacturing setting with occasional loud noise
" Humidity levels may increase during the summer months
" Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
