General Laborer – Outdoor Industrial Cleaning West Columbia, SC
$17.00–$17.75 per hour Full-time We are hiring a dependable General Laborer for a full-time outdoor industrial cleaning position in West Columbia, SC. This is a hands-on job that involves using commercial power-washing equipment to clean industrial storage racks and work areas. This position is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions. The right candidate must be comfortable getting wet and dirty, performing physical work, and working outside throughout the shift. Responsibilities - Operate commercial power washers
- Clean industrial storage racks from top to bottom
- Remove dirt, debris, rust buildup, and other materials from rack systems
- Set up, move, and properly store hoses and cleaning equipment
- Visually inspect cleaned racks for cracks, bends, rust, or other visible damage
- Report damaged areas or safety concerns to the supervisor
Qualifications
- Previous general labor, outdoor work, power washing, industrial cleaning, landscaping, construction, or warehouse experience is helpful
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements - Ability to work outdoors in hot, cold, wet, or changing weather conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
