Title:   General Laborer

Status: Non-Exempt

Reports To: Assembly/Weld Supervisor

Location: Manitowoc, WI

Summary:

The General Laborer performs a variety of physical tasks to support daily operations and production activities. This position assists with maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment while following company policies, procedures, and safety standards. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual labor tasks as assigned by supervisors or team leads. 
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials, supplies, and equipment. 
• Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively. 
• Assist with production, assembly, packaging, or shipping activities. 
• Maintain a clean and organized work area through housekeeping activities. 
• Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). 
• Assist with equipment setup, cleanup, and basic maintenance. 
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity goals. 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Specific Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. 
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. 
• Basic math and measurement skills. 
• Reliable attendance and punctuality. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Commitment to workplace safety.
