We are seeking dependable and hardworking Production Laborers to join a growing lumber manufacturing operation. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy physical work, working with their hands, and being part of a production team. Employees will assist with the handling, sorting, stacking, and movement of lumber products throughout the production process.
This is a physically demanding position that requires frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of large lumber boards and materials in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Sort, stack, and organize lumber products according to specifications
- Load and unload lumber and other wood materials
- Assist with production and manufacturing operations
- Inspect products for quality and defects
- Operate hand tools and basic production equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
- Assist with general labor duties throughout the facility
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing, production, construction, lumber yard, or general labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy lumber materials throughout the shift
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Comfortable working in a production or industrial environment
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Must be able to pass any required pre-employment screenings
