What You'll Do as a General Laborer:- Rotate between Egg Setting, Chick Processing, Chick Transfer, and Sanitation departments
- Handle and process day-old chicks while following animal welfare and safety guidelines
- Apply vaccines and assist with chick sorting and gender identification
- Clean and sanitize equipment, production lines, trays, and hatchery work areas
- Follow strict biosecurity and contamination prevention procedures
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and customer orders
What You Need to Bring to the General Laborer Role:- Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shifts on concrete surfaces
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity
- Ability to work early morning hours starting at approximately 6:00 AM
- Ability to work in an environment with water, cleaning chemicals, dust, and odors
- Prior agriculture, production, or general labor experience preferred but not required
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Entry-level candidates welcome; on-the-job training provided
