General Laborer

Job Duties:

• Performs tasks involving physical labor, cleaning, moving material and removing waste.
• May operate a variety of hand and or power tools to accomplish tasks and assist other workers as needed..
• May operate fork trucks and material handling equipment if properly trained
• May operate cranes if properly trained
• May operate may use a computer, printer, fax or scanner
• All work will be done according to proper safety and or quality procedures

Job Requirements:

• High School Education
• Ability to read/write and comprehend simple instructions.
• Frequently lift and or move up to 50 lbs by themselves, or heavier with crane/hoist support or assistance.
• While walking along tubes must be able to maintain balance to prevent falling.
• Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and scaffolds. Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl under trailers and assembly platforms.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
• The employee is frequently exposed to vibration from hand tools.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold (non-weather) and extreme heat (non-weather).
• Exposed to hoses carrying high pressure compressed gases.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
