Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is seeking reliable and hardworking General Laborers to join a production team in a climate-controlled shop environment. This position involves using hand tools, assisting with assembly and production activities, handling materials, and performing general shop duties throughout the workday.

The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable with physical work, and able to safely use basic hand tools while maintaining consistent quality and productivity.




Required Experience & Skills

• Comfortable using hand tools, including wrenches
• Ability to repeatedly lift and handle up to 50 lbs
• Ability to follow work instructions and established procedures
• Strong attention to quality and safety
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn




Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Use wrenches and other hand tools to assemble, disassemble, and adjust components
• Assist with general assembly and production activities
• Handle and move parts and materials throughout the work area
• Follow work instructions and production requirements
• Inspect parts and materials for obvious defects or quality concerns
• Maintain consistent productivity throughout the shift
• Keep tools, materials, and work areas clean and organized
• Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required PPE
• Communicate production, material, or quality concerns to supervisors
• Perform additional general labor and shop duties as assigned




Preferred Qualifications

• Previous general labor or manufacturing experience
• Assembly or production experience
• Experience using hand tools and basic shop equipment
• Warehouse or material-handling experience
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Previous experience performing repetitive production work




Physical Requirements

• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and repetitive movement
• Manual dexterity required for hand-tool and assembly work
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
• Comfortable working on your feet for the majority of the shift

• Climate-controlled shop environment
