Schedule: Full-Time, First Shift
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience
About the Position
Seeking dependable, motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow a career in manufacturing. We are willing to train candidates with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn.
This position supports multiple areas of the shop, including material preparation, precision finishing, and basic machining operations.
Responsibilities
Operate horizontal band saws (HEM saws) to cut raw material to specified lengths
Perform honing operations following work instructions
Operate manual shop equipment and basic machine tools
Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and job travelers
Measure parts using basic inspection tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
Load, unload, and move materials throughout the shop
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Assist other departments as needed to meet production schedules
Follow all quality and safety procedures
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Manufacturing or machine shop experience is a plus but not required
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to safely use hand tools and basic measuring equipment
Basic computer skills for viewing electronic work instructions
Strong attention to detail
Dependable attendance and positive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
Ability to safely handle raw materials and finished parts
