Job Description:
Build skids and proactively locate skids outside before each job begins to ensure optimal production flow.
• Measure materials for assembly.
• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements.
• Use hand and power tools while following safety protocols.
• Complete paperwork and put material away in a location and ensure that it's correct.
• Utilize software to maintain pallet inventory, to include real-time updates.
• Track and maintain waste, broken pallets, and identify ways to repurpose.
• Regularly clean and tidy work. This includes removing debris, organizing tools, and ensuring that the workspace is ready for the next task.
• Monitor supplies and inform the supervisor when inventory is running low.
• Notify the supervisor of any repair needs; it is best to submit a work order for tracking purposes.
• As a small company, additional duties may be assigned to ensure the plant is operating efficiently.
Must Haves- Lifting up to 50lbs
- Ability to perform essential math as needed and reading tape measurer
- Ability to work with team members to accomplish assigned goals
- Housekeeping of station and shop to maintain a safe working environment
- Ability to work safely
- Familiarity with industrial setting
- Previous forklift or machinery experience preferred but not required
