New Exciting General Labor Opportunity in Newport News!
Job Duties:
Load, unload, move, and stage materials, tools, and equipment throughout the shipyard.
Clean work areas, vessels, dry docks, and production facilities.
Remove debris, insulation, rubber, scrap materials, and hazardous waste in accordance with safety regulations.
Support painting, blasting, and preservation activities as directed.
Follow all shipyard safety procedures, including PPE requirements.
Work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and various weather conditions.
Perform other labor-related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
Must have 1 year of previous shipyard or ship repair experience
Ability to lift to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and work in physically demanding environments.
