Description: General Labor Services is seeking General Laborers in the Milford, VA Area:
Responsibilities:
Stack lumber according to company specifications and quality standards.
Band, wrap, and secure lumber bundles for storage or shipment.
Inspect lumber for defects, damage, or safety concerns.
Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Follow all safety guidelines, OSHA standards, and company procedures.
Work closely with operators, forklift drivers, and supervisors to maintain workflow.
Assist with general labor duties as needed.
Requirements:
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Consistently.
Strong attention to safety and detail
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work in an outdoor/industrial environment and varying weather conditions
Previous experience in a lumber, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required.
