Position Summary: Emerging Advanced Products is seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team as General Labor for our Chesterfield, MI location. This hands-on role supports daily production operations and includes a variety of tasks such as packing, welding, and assembly. Key Responsibilities: - Assemble products and components according to work instructions, blueprints, or schematics
- Perform basic welding tasks (MIG/TIG) as assigned and per company safety standards
- Pack finished products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling, wrapping, and quality control
- Inspect parts and finished products for defects and ensure conformance to specifications
- Operate basic hand tools and production equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and company policies
- Assist other departments or team members as needed
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
- Prior manufacturing, assembly, or welding experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
- Comfortable working in a physically active, fast-paced setting
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Willingness to learn and perform a variety of tasks
