General Labor – Rebar Production (Temp-to-Hire)
Starting Wage: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (plus overtime as needed)
About the Role
Local rebar construction company is seeking hardworking and reliable General Laborers to join our Rebar Production Department. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with competitive pay and benefits after the probationary period. You will assist with daily rebar production tasks, shipping/receiving, inventory, and general yard work. No experience is required—we will train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading/unloading trucks
- Clean product and return to inventory
- Count and tag inventory items
- Assist rebar machine operator with bundling rebar product
- Yard and shop cleanup (indoor & outdoor work in varying weather)
- Order selection and shipping/receiving support
- Operate forklift (experience a plus; training and certification available)
- Perform other duties as assigned in the Rebar Department
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Steel-toed boots required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand, bend, and stretch throughout shift
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to read and speak English for inventory and tagging
- Pass background check
Preferred Skills
- Previous general labor, warehouse, or construction experience (not required)
- Forklift experience (will train and certify on the job)
