Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable General Labor / Building Maintenance Associate for an immediate construction finishing project in Tulsa. This position will assist with cleanup, organization, painting, debris removal, and other general labor duties as the project moves toward completion.

The current project is expected to continue through Thanksgiving. For the right candidate, this position has the potential to transition into a long-term Building Maintenance role after the project is completed.

The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, comfortable performing hands-on physical work, and willing to help wherever needed. Previous general labor, construction, painting, or maintenance experience is preferred.

Required Experience & Skills

• Previous general labor, construction, maintenance, or painting experience preferred
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Comfortable performing a variety of hands-on tasks
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Strong work ethic and willingness to stay productive
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to maintain clean and organized work areas
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Basic repair or building maintenance knowledge is a plus
• Ability to work the full Monday–Friday schedule

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and organize construction and work areas
• Break down boxes and packaging materials
• Gather and properly dispose of debris
• Sweep floors and maintain clean work areas
• Collect and remove trash throughout the project
• Assist with painting projects
• Prepare areas and surfaces for painting as needed
• Move and organize materials and supplies
• Assist with construction finishing activities
• Support contractors and other personnel with general labor tasks
• Identify areas requiring cleanup or additional attention
• Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in an organized condition
• Follow all company and job-site safety procedures
• Perform additional general labor duties as assigned

Construction Finishing & Cleanup

This project is approaching its finishing stages, and associates may assist with:

• Job-site cleanup
• Sweeping and debris removal
• Breaking down boxes
• Trash collection
• Material organization
• Painting
• Final construction cleanup
• Moving supplies and materials
• Preparing completed areas for use
• General project support

Potential Building Maintenance Opportunity

For the right candidate, successful completion of the project may lead to an opportunity to transition into a long-term Building Maintenance position.

Future responsibilities could include:

• General building repairs
• Routine maintenance tasks
• Painting and touch-up work
• Basic fixture repairs

• Valid OMMA card accepted
• Background check required
• No felony convictions
• No drug-related charges
• No theft-related charges

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to move materials, boxes, trash, and supplies as required
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday
• Comfortable performing active construction cleanup and maintenance work
• Ability to safely use basic tools and equipment when required
• Ability to perform assigned duties while wearing required PPE

Work Environment

• Construction finishing and building environment
• Combination of indoor cleanup, painting, organization, and general labor activities
• Physically active position requiring frequent movement throughout the workday
• Project expected to continue through Thanksgiving
• Stable Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule
