Associate Dentist (Part-Time)

Hover Dental Group | Longmont, CO

Hover Dental Group is seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate Dentist to join our team two Mondays per month. This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist looking to build a consistent part-time schedule in a modern, patient-focused practice with a loyal patient base and an experienced clinical team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive exams and diagnose oral health conditions.

  • Utilize digital X-rays and diagnostic imaging to develop treatment plans.

  • Provide a full range of general dentistry services, including restorative dentistry, crowns, bridges, fillings, extractions, and preventive care.

  • Administer local anesthesia as needed.

  • Educate patients on oral health, treatment options, and post-operative care.

  • Perform oral cancer screenings and comprehensive evaluations.

  • Prescribe medications when appropriate.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and CDC guidelines.

  • Collaborate with the clinical team to provide an outstanding patient experience.

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school

  • Active Colorado dental license (or eligibility to obtain one)

  • Current CPR certification

  • Experience with dental practice management software is preferred

  • One to two years of clinical experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply

  • Excellent communication skills, strong chairside manner, and a collaborative approach to patient care
