General Dentist (Contract) – Claremore Oklahoma

Role Summary

Claremore Indian Hospital is seeking a General Dentist to join our team on a contract (locum) basis. In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive oral healthcare — from diagnosis and treatment to preventive care and patient education — in a supportive, patient-focused hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose & Treat: Identify and manage dental conditions including cavities, gum disease, and oral cancer.

• Perform Procedures: Deliver high-quality care through fillings, extractions, root canals, cleanings, sealants, and more.

• Educate Patients: Promote oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.

• Collaborate: Partner with hygienists, assistants, and specialists to ensure comprehensive care.

• Maintain Records: Document treatment plans, progress notes, and meet regulatory requirements with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Education: DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school

• Licensure: Active Oklahoma dental license (required)

• Experience: Prior clinical experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
