This individual will oversee all legal matters, advise senior leadership and the Board, and help guide strategy in alignment with organizational priorities.DutiesServe as chief legal advisor to executive leadership and the Board of DirectorOversee all legal matters, including risk management, governance, and complianceDevelop and implement legal strategies aligned with organizational prioritiesManage internal legal operations and supervise outside counselProvide guidance on corporate governance and maintain official corporate recordsSupport Board engagement, including preparation and coordination of materialAdvise on legal areas including employment, contracts, regulatory, and litigation mattersEngage with external stakeholders, including regulatory and government entitiesContribute to organizational strategy as a member of the senior leadership teamRequirementsJuris Doctor (JD) required; active bar membership required10+ years of legal experience with increasing responsibilitiesExperience in law firm, in-house, government, or nonprofit environmentBackground in governance, compliance, litigation, or transactional lawExperience advising senior executives and/or boards preferredDemonstrated ability to manage outside counsel and legal staffStrong legal judgment and strategic decision‑making abilityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentInterest in public policy, governance, or mission-driven work#J-18808-Ljbffr
