About the Role:
SERVPRO of Macon is looking for a dependable and hardworking General Cleaning Technician to join our growing team in Macon, GA. This is a hands-on role where you'll make a real difference by restoring homes and businesses to their best condition. Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning and restoration services in residential and commercial properties
- Clean and sanitize affected areas following SERVPRO standards and protocols
- Operate cleaning equipment and apply appropriate cleaning agents safely and effectively
- Assist with pack-out, inventory, and moving of contents as needed
- Communicate professionally with customers on-site to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain and care for company equipment, vehicles, and supplies
- Document job progress and report updates to crew leads or project managers
Requirements:
- Prior cleaning, janitorial, or restoration experience preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills
