General Assembler Job Title: General Assembler / General Laborer
Location: Houston, TX 77017 — Near Richey St & Galveston Rd
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour
Schedule: - Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Occasional extended hours until approximately 7:30 PM
- Currently working a 6-day workweek
- Overtime paid after 40 hours
Job Summary:
Apache Workforce is hiring General Assemblers / General Laborers for a position in the 77017 area of Houston. This is a great opportunity for dependable candidates who want to gain hands-on experience and develop skills in the skilled trades. Job Duties: - Assist with general assembly and production tasks
- Use basic hand and power tools
- Assist skilled workers with daily projects
- Learn and assist with plumbing and electrical work
- Assist with basic carpentry tasks
- Follow safety procedures and workplace instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned
Requirements: - Previous general labor, construction, assembly, or warehouse experience is a plus
- Ability to work a 6-day workweek
- Must be comfortable working extended hours when needed
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical labor throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Must be able to follow safety procedures and instructions
