    Advocate Health is seeking general anesthesiologists to serve its patients at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. Choose the practice model that fits your lifestyle with both call and no-call opportunities available.

    Aurora St. Lukes Medical Center is the largest hospital in Wisconsin and the only hospital in Wisconsin with a 24/7 onsite heart care team. We provide innovative care to patients from across the state, country and world. A nationally recognized health care provider, we offer a wide range of medical specialties in a culturally affirming and compassionate way to help all people live well.

    • Located at one of Southeastern Wisconsin's largest quaternary care facilities
    • Highly customizable work schedule with flexible call load
    • No in house call required. Home call ~45 weekdays per year
    • Nationally ranked programs in transplant, thoracic, and vascular surgery
    • No Trauma
    • Diverse case mix includes access to high acuity patient population as well as routine general surgery, vascular surgery, ortho, ENT, etc. 
    • Opportunity to sit approximately 80% of your own cases with some medical direction of lower risk cases

    • Robust support system of partners, anesthesia techs, anesthesia aides, and APPs

    Training and/or Experience Required
    • Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program
    • Board-eligibility or board-certification in Anesthesiology

    • No noncompete for Hospital Based Specialists, including Anesthesiology
