Our client is seeking a General Accountant to support their accounting operations with a strong focus on month-end and year-end close processes within an Oracle Fusion environment.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Prepare and post general ledger entries and journal entries with accuracy and attention to detail
Manage balance sheet and bank account administration, including reconciliations and supporting documentation
Support month-end and year-end close activities, including fixed asset reconciliation and accrual management
Prepare financial reports and perform variance analysis to investigate discrepancies and trends
Perform accounting activities and maintain financial data within Oracle Fusion
Assist with internal and external audit requests, ensuring timely and accurate documentation support
Maintain organized accounting records and ensure all activities are completed within established timelines
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4–8 years of general accounting experience with demonstrated proficiency in GL entries, journal entries, and reconciliations
Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion
Strong knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
Strong knowledge of month-end and year-end close procedures, fixed asset management, and financial reporting
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate variances and discrepancies
Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Professional communication skills and ability to support cross-functional teams and audit requests
