Position: GenAI Engineer
Location: Newark, DE or Pennington, NJ
3 days onsite/2 remote
12+ month contract to hire

Requirements:
We are looking for a Generative AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy GenAI solutions on on-premises models and infrastructure. You'll split your time between GenAI work and data engineering, and you'll work with a cross-functional team on projects in data extraction, chatbots, fraud detection and prevention, and classification models. This role is for someone who has deployed, monitored, and tuned models in live production environments and wants to keep learning.

Position: GenAI Engineer

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in AI and Generative AI
- Programming experience in Python, including LangChain, LangGraph, and Streamlit.
- Expertise in data science and experience with AI frameworks.
- Knowledge of natural language processing for text generation.
- Skills in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and vector databases.

You'll split your time between GenAI work and data engineering, and you'll work with a cross-functional team on projects in data extraction, chatbots, fraud detection and prevention, and classification models. This role is for someone who has deployed, monitored, and tuned models in live production environments and wants to keep learning.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and deploy GenAI solutions using on-prem LLMs and infrastructure
- Build chatbots and data extraction solutions using LLMs, prompt engineering, and NLP
- Support traditional AI/ML work, including fraud detection, fraud prevention, and classification models
- Monitor model performance after go-live, then tune and optimize models in production
- Support live production environments
- Analyze large datasets in a Hadoop environment using SQL
- Support data processing and data engineering work alongside GenAI projects
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver GenAI solutions from design through production
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of combined experience in AI/ML, Python, and data engineering
- 2+ years of hands-on GenAI experience in production, including deploying, monitoring, and tuning models
- Strong Python programming skills
- Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, and Streamlit
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and chatbot development
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) for text generation
- Skilled in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and vector databases
- SQL skills for data analysis
- Background in data science and AI frameworks
- Eager to learn and grow with new technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience deploying models on-premises
- Experience moving from traditional ML into GenAI/LLM work
- Hadoop experience
- ETL experience
